Zoospore ultrastructure of members in the order Spizellomycetales:
The Order Spizellomycetales includes five genera (Wakefield et al. 2010):
- Kochiomyces (1 species)
- Spizellomyces (8 species) (to see zoospore summary double click on the name)
- Triparticalcar (2 species)
- Gaertneriomyces (3 species)
- Powellomyces (2 species)
Genera may be distinguished based on zoospore ultrastructure (see illustrations and references below).
